Eligibility Criteria
Domicile Requirement
Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued under the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2020 by Jammu and Kashmir UT government. The certificate must be uploaded during the online application process. Non-domicile applicants will not be considered .
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)
- Open Merit (OM): 40 years
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 43 years
- Government Service/Contractual Employees: 40 years
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
- LMV or HMV Driving License of The candidate – it is important because in Skill Test Driving of the Candidate will be checkd.
The driving license must be active and issued by a competent authority. Candidates without these documents will not be permitted to appear for the driving test .
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
Driving Test (Qualifying Nature)
Only candidates who clear the driving test will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment for grade II posts which is OMR/CBT Test.
Written OMR/CBT Examination (50 Marks)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Total Questions: 50 (1 mark each)

- Motor Parts & Repairs (15 marks)
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs (15 marks)
There is no negative marking in CBT of this exam of Conducted by JK High Court.
Interview/Viva-Voce (10 Marks)
Candidates who qualify CBT of Grade II posts by JK High Court will go for interview in which 1:5 ratio candidates will be passed. The final merit list will be based on combined scores from the written exam (50 marks) and interview (10 marks).
